74th India International Garment Fair

A strategic sourcing and trade mission giving members direct access to garment and fabric manufacturers and real insights into scaling fashion businesses.
MyFashionChamber led a Malaysian delegation to the 74th India International Garment Fair (IIGF 2026), one of Asia’s key apparel sourcing platforms.
The programme provided members with direct exposure to garment and fabric manufacturers, covering womenswear, occasion wear, accessories, and scalable production capabilities.
Members were able to assess quality, production readiness, and commercial terms on first-hand market access progressing into active sourcing and negotiation discussions.
Participation in trade missions like IIGF is important to our members as it offers first hand market access, clearer understanding of manufacturing realities, and practical insight into what it takes to scale beyond the domestic market.

Abu Dhabi Modest Fashion Week 2025 marked a milestone for Malaysian modest fashion on the global stage. Held at the prestigious St. Regis Sa’adiyat Island Abu Dhabi, MyFashionChamber proudly supported designer Arlina Amdan, who debuted her ARLINA AYOU ‘Modern Heritage’ collection on 15 April 2025. Featuring reimagined Malaysian songket and batik, the collection blended cultural identity with contemporary elegance.
The showcase was graced by the presence of the Malaysian Ambassador to Abu Dhabi, MATRADE’s Trade Commissioner from Dubai, as well as delegates from the Malaysian Embassy and MATRADE Dubai, underlining strong institutional support for fashion diplomacy.
This high-profile event gathered global fashion designers, media, influencers, and buyers — further amplifying MyFashionChamber’s commitment to cross-border collaboration, cultural representation, and export-ready modest fashion.

MyFashionChamber officially launched in Kuala Lumpur, attended by Malaysian government officials, distinguished ambassadors, fashion industry leaders, heritage and cultural collaborators, international partners, media representatives, and renowned Malaysian fashion designers.
The event was honoured by the presence of YAM Tengku Laksamana Selangor, Tengku Sulaiman Shah Alhaj ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj.
This milestone marks a significant new chapter for Malaysia’s fashion industry, focused on unity, inclusivity, sustainability, innovation, and global collaboration.
At the launch, we unveiled our vision, introduced esteemed founding members and strategic partners, signed a significant MOU with Allianz General Malaysia introducing Fashion Risk & Operational Coverage (FROC), officially opened our membership program, and highlighted upcoming fashion events, exhibitions, and initiatives to elevate Malaysian fashion talents onto the global stage.

Jay Ishak (MyFashionChamber), represented Malaysia as a Panel Speaker at the BRICS+ Fashion Summit in Moscow. The Summit gathered fashion leaders, policymakers, and industry innovators from 65 countries to discuss the future of fashion across emerging markets.
Jay’s participation in the “Regional Session: Asia” positioned Malaysia at the center of global dialogue on cultural heritage, sustainability, technology integration, and cross-border cooperation. By highlighting Malaysia’s ability to merge craft traditions with modern innovation, her presence reinforced the nation’s role in cultural diplomacy and strengthened opportunities for Malaysian designers to access international platforms.
Trade Commissioner for Malaysia in Moscow, Mr. Khaifil Elmi Jamil, attended the session in support of Malaysia’s representation, underscoring the government’s commitment to promoting Malaysia’s creative industries on the global stage.

MyFashionChamber serves as the Modest Fashion Strategic Partner for MIHAS, the world’s largest halal trade platform.
Through MIHAS, the Chamber curates and delivers a comprehensive modest fashion programme that extends beyond the runway, including forums, side conversations, presentations, and a curated fashion showcase featuring Malaysian and regional designers, including collaborations with Indonesia.
MIHAS remains the only recognised international platform in Malaysia for modest fashion, providing designers with visibility to buyers, organisers, and industry stakeholders from more than 80 countries.
Designers who participate are often subsequently scouted and invited to other international fashion showcases, runways, and trade missions abroad.
This platform continues to play an important role in advancing the Chamber’s mission of connecting creativity with commerce, while strengthening Malaysia’s position as a fashion and trade connector on the global stage.

Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week 2025 : Fashion Market in Asia Talkshow
The Fashion Market in Asia Talkshow is part of Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2025, presented by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia.
The session brought together leading voices in the modest fashion industry to discuss emerging opportunities, market trends, and regional collaboration across Asia’s fast-growing Muslim fashion ecosystem.
Held on Friday, 7 November 2025 at the Kartika Expo Center, Balai Kartini, Jakarta, this insightful dialogue features Jay Ishak, CEO and Co-Founder of MyFashionChamber and H.E. Naseem Rashed, Minister for Trade and Investment at the Embassy of Pakistan in Jakarta.
The session explores how Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan can strengthen trade cooperation, promote sustainable modest fashion, and position Asia as a leading hub in the global halal lifestyle economy.

Global Fashion Conference (GFC 2025) - Fashion Transformation: Coexistence in Diversity
MyFashionChamber, together with a Malaysian delegation of seven fashion designers, represented Malaysia's fashion community at the Global Fashion Conference 2025 (GFC 2025). Event was held in Humen City, Dongguan, China.
GFC is one of the world’s leading international platforms that connects global fashion leaders to drive innovation, sustainability, and industry collaboration.
This prestigious conference focused on the transformative role of artificial intelligence, green innovation, and intelligent manufacturing in shaping the future of fashion. It gathered designers, policymakers, and business leaders from over 20 countries to exchange ideas and strengthen international partnerships.
Jay Ishak, CEO and Co-Founder of MyFashionChamber, participated in the Humen Vision 2025 roundtable, while Malaysian designer members participated in key business matchmaking and exchange sessions, expanding Malaysia’s presence and creative influence in the global fashion arena.

Manila International Fashion Week (MIFW) Season 6

MIFW was held at the iconic Okada Manila, bringing together designers, media, buyers, and industry leaders from across Asia.
MyFashionChamber proudly represented Malaysia at the event. Jay Ishak, CEO and Co-Founder of MyFashionChamber, was invited as a Speaker at the Creative Industry Forum on the topic Fashion Beyond Borders. Malaysia was also showcased on the runway through a fashion presentation by Chamber member Jonathan Yun Jewelry.
